Karina Galiano

EVENT ASSOCIATE

Karina (she/her/hers) is a proud Latina of Colombian and Ecuadorian parentage. She’s an experienced arts administrator with a passion for social change, community building, and empowerment. She is based in the Washington, D.C. area and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design and Technology.

She has over 7 years of various experience within the arts including program development and management, event production, stage management, artist wrangling, and touring experience. Karina is the Program Manager for Creative Alliances in the Social Impact Department of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Karina is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston, and she hopes to continue and elevate her work within events to advance social and political change for underserved communities.
